The wonderful thing about watching someone moving house is being able to see and appreciate the before and after . . . . . I’m thinking here of a young couple who bought a tiny but functional starter home some five years ago. It had just what they needed, except a garage. The kitchen was minute – getting the meal cooked with one person in there was challenging – adding both partners to the mix made it almost comical, but they managed for 3 years. Then they decided they needed to upsticks and move to something bigger. Boy they did that alright. Their new home is almost two hundred years old and and has masses of character, sitting in a woody glenn that surrounds a Grade I listed Hall. It’s such a beautiful place – and they absolutely love it. Their choice of furniture and decor is absolutely perfect – each piece bought with love from a favourite supply site. Such a good advert for them too!
