All I have dreamed about my whole life is acting. To bring to life characters from all walks of life and all periods in time, past, present and future; the ability to swing from harsh reality to the land of make believe; acting is one of the few professions that can give such scope to the imagination. I am lucky enough to have had many diverse roles, from Shakespeare's Juliet and Hero to a lifeguard on Baywatch, an MI5 agent and a mum! I have a great love of both Theatre and Cinema; Theatre for it's spontaneity and unpredictability and Cinema for allowing the audience to get as close as possible to the characters.
I have recently taken a short break from acting to understand more fully the world of film from behind the camera, following the film making process from concept right through production and beyond. Armed with this new knowledge I now feel I have a fresh approach and I'm looking forward once again to face the challenges and possibilities that acting provides. I also long to get back to the only place I have ever felt I truly belong, surrounded by a wealth of creativity and a vast diversity of people - on a film set.
